Sometimes the best inspiration comes while I’m in a rut. We all know & love the catch phrase “the struggle is real” in the case of us artists in Los Angeles, we might as well have this tattoo’d our left forearm. I wrote this song in one of the lowest & most frustrating points in my budding career & it came out of me a little too effortlessly. Upon playing it live around town for months, one night a fan yelled out “play the L.A. Struggle Song!” I knew exactly which song they were referring to & in that moment, they gave it its very personal title. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, I think everyone can relate to this song & it’s unfiltered message.
